No news is good news

Still going. Went to the gym this morning and had a kickass workout! It felt great! Eating is still not good. Trying to get back on track but its so hard. Lots of shit going on behind the scenes. Something new!

I actually went back to the gym. It was like meeting up with an old friend.....I didn't realize how much I missed it until I jumped on the elliptical. Granted, the elliptical is my least favorite machine, but to feel my heartrate increase and my body sweat, is almost like a drug. Because of my eye and pms, I've been avoiding it. But Jen and I promised we'd meet each other there and so I brought the kids last night and we got in a good workout. My eating has sucked, I haven't been taking my diuretic, so needless to say, the scale is up 8 pounds or so. Not in the right direction! Why do I work so hard to lose it and then do this to myself? Anyway, big time cramps today, so I skipped out, but I plan on going tomorrow and Thursday. Gotta get myself back on track!

Ummm....

......exercise is nonexistent. I've had an ulcer on my cornea, and although my legs don't hurt, I just don't feel like going to the gym. Been in pain, and basically only doing what needs to be done. Eating isn't going that great. Not bad, but not good either. Only been able to look at the bright computer screen for 15 min. at a time due to the light sensitivity. But wanted to at least post a quick update. Hope everyone's week is going well!

One step forward, two steps back

Not a good weigh-in today. I followed through Wednesday with the points. Hubby suggested pizza for dinner on Thursday night, so points didn't go very well that night. By Friday, I figured I might as well have a good old binge and get it out of my system! Why do I do that to myself? A part of my brain tells me that if I have a little "binge" I'll get it out of my system and that I'll do better following my points. I know by now, 2 years into this, that that never has worked, and never will, yet that doesn't stop me! Vicious cycle, I tell ya. Anyway....... are you ready for this? I gained 4 POUNDS! I know that some of it is water, because for some reason, even though I'm taking my diuretic daily, for the last few days I've noticed some swelling in my lower legs. I'm thinking that with the diuretic, on an average day, with drinking my water too, that my body is able to regulate it all with the meds. But since I had pizza for dinner and didn't drink any extra water, also keeping in mind, I didn't exercise a whole lot this week, I think it explains it all. Enough of an explanation anyway, to not get frustrated, and do the best I can this next week. I need to get back into the rythm of the gym too. Just had alot of appts this week between the kids and I . But normal life must resume.....especially with swimsuit season coming up!

Halfway

Only 3 days left! Its the ultimate countdown...lol Today went well. Dragged myself to the gym after work this morning, and did an hour on the treadmill, burning 460 calories. Could of, should of, done the elliptical, but figure I'll do that tomorrow, and then only the treadmill on Thursday. My right shoulder has been hurting again. Hasn't since December, but now its back to the hurtin'......damn rotator cuff! Hasn't gotten too bad, but bad enough where I have to watch how I use it. While on the treadmill this morning, I had it folded across the front of me, and holding tight onto the left side of my t-shirt. Just feels better in that position. It just sucks. I'm such a mess, you'd think I was in my 50's or 60's....lol Anyway, hoping that I can continue to do well throughout the week. Btw, I put my scale away again. For a few weeks now I've been stepping on it daily just to keep up with the fluid issue. Now, I realize that its great to lose something, but if I put the damn thing AWAY, I just might lose a little bit more! Hope everyone's having a great week!

Another one down

Sorry I didn't post earlier. Had another loss. Small one this week, only .4, but hey, a loss is a loss. Eating wasn't really great but I didn't binge on anything and did eat anything out of the norm. I was looking through my weigh-in book, and realized that with the exception of a tiny gain, (only .2lbs!) and one week of maintaining, I've lost weight in the last 8 WEEKS!!! I think that's a record for me.... at least in the last 3 months. I'm now close to be 10 pounds away from my lowest, and if I go at the rate that I'm going, I'll be down to it by the end of June. Which means I'll fit back into my summer clothes. Anyway, trying to good this week as well, just hoping I can make it through the week. I'm also feeling 90% better from my cold, so I just might hop back on the elliptical tomorrow. Hope everyone's having a great week!
